Let's analyze the reasons for the oil leakage from the piston rod

During the use of hydraulic cylinders, sometimes it is clearly determined that the piston rod is in good condition during assembly and there are no marks on the surface. But after using it for a period of time, it was discovered that it had oil. In fact, product oil is a common phenomenon encountered during use, as there may inevitably be some collisions during use, which leads to the phenomenon of oil. The occurrence of oil leakage will affect the progress of work to a certain extent. So how should we solve the problem of oil leakage from the piston rod?
1. Deformation of piston rod;
2. The inner lip of the sealing ring and the surface of the piston rod are not fitted together;
3. The surface coating was damaged during use, resulting in surface unevenness;
4. There are scratches on the surface or accidental scratches or bumps during use;
5. The size of the sealing groove on the cylinder head or guide does not meet the requirements, resulting in the inability to increase the compression amount. If the compression amount does not increase, it will gradually decrease, causing the piston rod to discharge oil.
Therefore, if you want to solve the problem of oil leakage, you need to check based on the above reasons. If during use, it is found that there is always an oil leakage problem at the sealing element, then it is generally caused by the lack of fit between the inner lip of the sealing ring and the surface of the piston rod. To solve this problem, it is necessary to allow pressure oil to smoothly enter the inner lip, and then use pressure oil to compress the inner lip. For example, by opening a channel in the guide sleeve, the gap between the pressure oil and the inner lip can be connected together.
