Can the piston rod after quenching and tempering achieve the following benefits?

A type of product that is commonly used in piston rod mechanical products. However, due to its different scope of use and working conditions, sometimes it requires processes such as electroplating, rolling, quenching, tempering, and nitriding. So does it all need to be tempered?
However, not all piston rods require tempering. The quenching and tempering treatment mainly depends on the manufacturing materials used. Because quenching and tempering are only a dual heat treatment process of quenching and high-temperature tempering, the products after quenching and tempering can obtain the following benefits:
1. It can increase the working strength of materials.
2. After quenching and tempering treatment, the piston rod can have good comprehensive mechanical properties.
3. Helps to seal small surface cracks, hinders the expansion of erosion, and enhances surface corrosion resistance.
4. After quenching and tempering treatment, the internal stress generated by quenching can be eliminated to achieve the expected mechanical properties.
If the quenched piston rod needs to be reheated during quenching and tempering treatment, it must be carried out at a specific temperature range (350 ℃~650 ℃). Otherwise, if the temperature is higher or lower than this, the internal stress generated by quenching cannot be eliminated and the expected mechanical properties cannot be achieved.
